Fabric Purchasing Executive

General Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related field,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fabric-related roles,
• Strong background in sourcing, purchasing, and research & development of woven fabrics,
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.),
• Actively experienced in using SAP system is a plus,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and persuasion skills,
• Proactive, quality-oriented, and results-driven,
• Strong analytical thinking, planning, and time management skills,

Job Description

• To follow the international and domestic fabric procurement process, to search for alternative fabric suppliers, to carry out price negotiations and approval processes,
• Organizing samples and fabric presentation meetings for the selected fabric qualities,
• Requesting the necessary information from the supplier and ensuring the creation of the supplier account card in the SAP system,
• Creating fabric libraries in accordance with Vakko standards and ensuring that these libraries are kept up to date,
• Managing and developing purchasing, warehouse processes, and supplier relationships.
