Fabrication Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabrication Engineer to join our steel fabrication company. The candidate will be responsible for managing fabrication works, coordinating with clients, and ensuring projects are completed on time and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications
• Prepare material take-offs and cutting lists
• Plan and supervise fabrication activities in the workshop
• Coordinate with production team to ensure smooth workflow
• Ensure quality control and dimensional accuracy of fabricated items
• Handle site measurements when required
• Communicate directly with clients regarding technical clarifications
• Attend meetings with clients and consultants
• Follow up on approvals, revisions, and project updates
• Resolve technical and fabrication-related issues
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in structural steel fabrication
• Strong knowledge of steel structures and non-structural works
• Experience with AutoCAD / Tekla (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good communication skills (English required)
• Ability to deal confidently with clients and consultants

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
