Fabrication Engineer – Steel Structure

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Fabrication Engineer with strong experience in structural steel fabrication. The candidate will be responsible for managing fabrication activities, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with production and project teams to meet delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage steel fabrication activities in the workshop
• Ensure fabrication works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications
• Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion
• Review shop drawings and ensure accuracy before fabrication
• Coordinate with design, planning, and production teams
• Ensure proper cutting, welding, fitting, and assembly of steel components
• Monitor fabrication quality and ensure compliance with standards
• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures in fabrication process
• Identify defects and ensure corrective actions
• Plan material usage and minimize wastage
• Coordinate with procurement for material availability
• Optimize manpower and machine utilization for efficient production
• Ensure safe working practices in the workshop
• Maintain fabrication records, reports, and documentation
• Coordinate with site team for smooth delivery and erection support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering
• 2–5+ years of experience in steel fabrication
• UAE experience preferred

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes
• Experience in welding, cutting, and assembly techniques
• Ability to read shop drawings and fabrication details
• Knowledge of QA/QC standards and inspection procedures
• Familiarity with structural steel and PEB projects
