PRICE ELECTRIC is hiring an Electrical Fabrication Lead to support our production team through hands-on electrical assembly work while providing daily guidance to other assemblers. This role combines technical craftsmanship with leadership, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met.
What You'll Do:
- Follow and enforce all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company/customer procedures
- Actively participate in daily huddles and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
- Perform hands-on electrical assembly and fabrication based on work orders, drawings, and specifications
- Provide daily coordination and on-the-job guidance to assemblers while working alongside the team
- Conduct inspections, assessments, and reporting; review drawings and schedules to identify risks and improvement opportunities
- Monitor production progress and communicate status updates, delays, or issues to the Production Supervisor
- Assist with material staging, inventory management, and preparation of tools and equipment
- Verify completed work meets quality standards and specifications; identify deficiencies and support corrective actions
- Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and component repair or replacement
- Support training and skill development of team members through coaching and demonstration
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and support lean/continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete production updates, inspections, logs, and material tracking in company systems
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Electrical trade education with 5+ years of relevant electrical experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- OSHA 10 certification
- Prior electrical fabrication experience preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lead tasks while performing hands-on work
