Northwest Precast is expanding our in‑house fabrication team, and we’re looking for a production‑minded welder/fabricator who takes pride in clean, consistent, zero‑defect work. You’ll be working under a highly competent Welding/Fabrication Shop Supervisor — a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) who is young, sharp, steady, and committed to building a shop where people can grow, feel supported, and do their best work.

What You’ll Do

• Weld and fabricate embeds, plates, reinforcement assemblies, and custom components for precast concrete products
• Run GMAW, FCAW, SMAW (GTAW a plus) with consistency and zero defects
• Read and interpret engineered drawings and weld symbols
• Work efficiently in a production environment — hood down, quality up, no shortcuts
• Maintain clean, safe work habits in a shop that takes safety seriously
• Support daily fabrication output to keep production moving on schedule
• Contribute to a high‑performance team led by a CWI who knows the work and supports your success

What You Bring

• Solid welding experience in a fabrication or structural environment
• WABO or AWS certification preferred (or the drive to earn it quickly)
• Ability to produce clean, consistent welds with minimal rework
• Strong work ethic — reliable, coachable, and hungry to grow
• Ability to work from drawings, tape measures, and fabrication details
• Pride in craftsmanship and accountability for quality
