Join a growing team focused on building custom conveyor and material handling systems. This is not repetitive production work—every project is different, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills and work on real-world systems from fabrication through assembly and troubleshooting.
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform welding, cutting, and metal fabrication
- Measure and cut materials to precise specifications
- Assemble components using welding and mechanical fastening
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Assist in building and setting up conveyor systems
- Help troubleshoot systems during testing and runoff
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication and welding within manufacturing or construction environments.
- Skilled in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, plasma cutting, press brake operation, and machining processes.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication tasks.
- Experience working on construction sites or in industrial manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of rigging, pipe threading, ductwork installation, and assembly procedures.
