Aluminum Supply Company is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Technician to join our fabrication team.
We are a family-owned manufacturing business that has been serving customers since 1948. Our shop environment is high-mix and low-volume, meaning employees are exposed to a wide variety of projects and fabrication processes rather than performing the same task all day.
This is not a single-station position. The successful candidate will support multiple fabrication operations including layout, cutting, forming, assembly, material handling, and welding as production needs require.
Candidates who prefer a welding-only position may not find this role to be a good fit.

- Perform general fabrication operations including layout, cutting, drilling, punching, notching, and assembly
- Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and work instructions
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, punches, notchers, shears, and press brakes
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components as required
- Deburr, grind, and finish fabricated parts
- Assist with material movement, stocking, loading, and unloading activities
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications

- Previous experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or metalworking environment

- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
