Fabrication Welder

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. Duties

• Operate various welding techniques, including TIG welding, to assemble metal components according to technical specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
• Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine dimensions and fabrication requirements.
• Perform basic measurements and calculations using mathematical skills to ensure accurate fitting of parts.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of welding equipment and fabrication machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficiency in TIG welding and other welding techniques relevant to <LOCATION> welding standards.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, including working with sheet metal and assembly of components.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialised welding equipment.
