Tyne Coast College comprises South Tyneside College, Tyne Metropolitan College and South Shields Marine School.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging lessons and practical workshops in fabrication and welding.
- Support and guide students to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers, and industry partners to ensure the curriculum meets current and future skills needs.
- Participate in course development, assessment, and quality assurance.

Promote an inclusive and safe learning environment where every learner feels valued.
- A relevant engineering qualification at Level 3 or above (essential).
- A teaching qualification (Cert Ed or equivalent), or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong industry experience in fabrication and welding.
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.

A commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
- Specialist welding qualification or coding.
- Experience teaching or training in a further education or professional setting.

Assessor or Verifier awards (A1/V1) or willingness to achieve these.
