Description:

We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined individual to join our high-tech team. As a leading contract manufacturer with some of the most modern equipment available, we need people who enjoy working with their hands, solving problems, and taking pride in precision work.

Requirements:

What you’ll do:

• Operate fabrication equipment such as punches, lasers, press brakes, CNC mills, and welding machines
• Work with inspection tools and equipment to ensure quality (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, PCMM, etc.)
• Assist in setting up jobs and running production parts
• Help create and follow shop procedures to improve efficiency
• Work with fixtures, tools, and jigs to support production
• Participate in new part introductions and process improvements

How we’ll get you up to speed:

• Hands-on training alongside experienced fabricators and technicians
• Exposure to multiple departments to understand the full manufacturing process
• One-on-one mentoring to learn machines, equipment, and shop practices
• Access to official training (online and in-person) for specialized equipment or software as needed

Desired skills:

• Comfortable using measuring tools and basic shop math (including trigonometry)
• Able to read and follow technical drawings/blueprints
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, file management, basic data entry)
• Willingness to split time between computer tasks and hands-on shop work
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and equipment

Optional (not required):

• CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar)
• Programming experience (g-code, CNC, or basic coding)
• Familiarity with 3D printing and other advanced manufacturing methods
• IT or technical troubleshooting experience
