Find The RightJob.

An experienced senior fabricator in a small team making high-quality, low-volume bespoke projects. Growing company where your input matters.

Job Description (the role): Every project has something different about it and a problem to solve. We make bespoke engineering structures for London residential properties — steel construction, hardwood clad, powder-coated — and no two are quite the same.

See examples of our work here (https://atlanticbike.co.uk/pages/case-studies-bike-bin-storage).

You will work from drawings and jigs, and where it makes sense you will be expected to make your own. The fabrication is varied: MIG and TIG welding across mild steel, stainless and occasional aluminium; grinding and prepping for galvanising and powder coating; timber work and assembly. We also run an Amada press brake therefore experience or genuine interest in operating it is a real advantage. You will be mocking up structures in the workshop, prototype new assemblies and own projects from start to finish where applicable.

Installations are part of the job. You will go on site with the team to install in London — roughly once a week as a minimum.

We are a small shop and we are looking for someone experienced who can pull their weight from the start. You will have real autonomy here — nobody looking over your shoulder — and we expect you to take ownership of your work and the quality of what leaves the workshop.

Interview Process

Send us your CV (mandatory) at alexandra@atlanticbike.co.uk or give us a phone call at 020 8050 3051.

If we're a good fit, we'll invite you in for a paid trial shift: 2–4 hours of real workshop work. We will pay for your time regardless of the outcome. We are willing to be flexible with timings if you need to work around other commitments.
