Fabricator (Blacksmith)

We are an established sheetmetal and fabrication business since 1947. R Y Thomson & Son are recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator for a fabrication company based in Dundee. This will be a permanent position for the right applicant with a competitive salary offered.

Main Responsibilities:

Experienced in Mig, Tig, mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium welding for a variety of light/medium duty fabrication work to be carried out to a high standard.

• Gates/railings
• Industrial fencing
• Handrails
• Various fabrication and welding duties
• On site fitting
• The list not exhaustive and other duties will be required

Applicant: Reliable, driven and able to integrate with rest of the team.

Working Hours:

Monday- Thursday 8am- 4.30pm

Friday 8am- 2pm

Overtime available

Essential Requirements:

• Clean current driving license
• Minimum 6 years of experience

• Dundee, Dundee City: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
