Fabricator/Mechanic

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Fabricator/Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining metal components and mechanical systems across various projects. Your expertise will ensure that all work meets safety standards, quality expectations, and project deadlines. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components.
  • Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining tools to shape and assemble parts.
  • Perform welding tasks with precision using MIG, TIG, FCAW, and other welding techniques to meet ASME codes & standards.
  • Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to ensure proper fit and function.
  • Fabricate sheet metal components, piping (including threading), and structural elements for construction trucks.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work processes, inspections, and quality checks in accordance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with hands-on fabrication and mechanical work.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems including pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, assembly processes, and schematics interpretation.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations required for measurements and fabrication tasks.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation and rigging techniques for material handling.
  • Basic understanding of ASME codes & standards relevant to fabrication work in manufacturing or construction environments.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
