LaserMaster is a rapidly growing manufacturing business. We have the machinery to Laser/plasma cut from flat sheet metals with additional processes involving folding/bending, fabrication/welding as well as machining and most recently powder coating. Our customers’ needs vary from one off washers to house signs and bigger regular batch work for bigger companies. We are accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CHAS and SMAS (Health and Safety accreditations).

As a Fabricator/Welder you will have the following daily duties and responsibilities:
- Welding/ Fabricating many varying jobs (MIG/MAG and Tig of stainless steel and aluminium)
- Ensuring produced parts are of a high standard and meet all of our customers requirements
- Working towards targets and deadlines
- Working as part of a team as well as independently

As a Fabricator/Welder you will have the following skills:
- Good numeracy skills
- Be able to read and understand technical/engineering drawings
- Must have common sense and initiative
- Must be self-driven with a focus on improving business performance
- Able to demonstrate attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Able to handle problems in a logical and structured way
- Able to thrive in a fast moving, sometimes hectic commercial environment
- Willingness to get “hands dirty”
- Good communication skills

Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment would be essential for this job.

• Uniform provided and full PPE.

Salary is to be confirmed but will aim to be competitive, and will be dependant on experience and qualifications.

A practical welding test may be required as a part of the interview process.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £33,150.00 to £44,200.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm(42.5 hrs a week) or 4 day week 6am - 5pm (42 hrs per week) (negotiable)
• Overtime available

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Redruth TR16 5HY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Fabricating: 3 years (required)minimum and qualifications will be needed to add to our company Training log.
• References professional and personal required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
