Fabricator/Welder

We produce fabricated structural steelwork to BSEN1090-2 up to Execution Class 3. All structural steelwork is produced using this and other harmonised standards to ensure all our work is carried out to the highest standard.

We also produce various architectural products such as balustrades, staircases and other ornamental products using Mild steel, Corten, Stainless & Aluminium.

Experience & proficiency in Tig welding Mild Steel, Stainless & Aluminium would be favourable.

Duties:

• Assemble fabricated metal components using various welding techniques
• Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and sequence of operations
• Measure and mark workpieces using rulers, squares, or templates to ensure accurate assembly
• Operate welding equipment and tools such as MIG welders, TIG welders, and plasma cutters & flame cutting. Metalworker, Press Brake, Guillotine, Machine Rollers, Overhead Crane etc.
• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform basic maintenance on workshop equipment

Experience:
- Previous experience as a structural steelwork fabricator & welder is absolutely essential.
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Any agreed salary would be based on the experience of the person applying for the position.
