Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fabricator / Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading technical drawings, fabricating metal components, and performing high-quality welding work to meet production and safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal structures and components.
  • Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, drills, and cutting tools.
  • Perform MIG & TIG welding to a high standard.
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Carry out repairs and modifications on existing metalwork.
  • Maintain tools, machinery, and a clean working environment.
  • Work collaboratively to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator / Welder.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Skilled in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
  • Experience using fabrication and welding tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials when required.
  • Working week is 8am-6pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility when needed.

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
