We are seeking a skilled and energetic Fabricator Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties

• Small batch work with a good variety of products and not all jig work,
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications for fabrication and welding projects
• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), welding techniques to join various metals with precision
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure accurate dimensions and quality control throughout fabrication processes
• Set up and operate rigging equipment such as cranes for lifting heavy materials safely during assembly or installation
• Maintain a clean and organised work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Experience

• Due to working with the Ministry of Defence this vacancy is only open to British Nationals
• Proven experience working with metal fabrication or welding projects in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in MIG, TIG welding techniques; highly desirable
• Strong ability to read technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools and rigging equipment
• Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is an advantage but not essential as training can be given

Pay: £14.50-£16.00 per hour
