Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Façade Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative façade concepts and detailed technical designs for building envelopes, ensuring alignment with architectural intent, project specifications, and industry standards.

The role requires strong experience in façade systems such as curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and aluminum systems, along with the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams throughout the design and execution process.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development

• Develop innovative façade designs that meet project requirements, budgets, and aesthetic objectives.
• Assist in the development of façade concepts for commercial, residential, and high-rise buildings.

3D Modeling & Visualization

• Create detailed 3D models and visualizations using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or Rhino.
• Produce façade layouts, elevations, and technical design details.

Material Selection

• Research and recommend suitable façade materials and finishes, considering durability, sustainability, and performance.
• Evaluate materials such as glass, aluminum, ACP cladding, and curtain wall systems.

Technical Documentation

• Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, and detailed design documentation for fabrication and construction.
• Ensure all documentation aligns with project specifications and design standards.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Work closely with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and project teams.
• Ensure façade designs comply with local building codes, project requirements, and safety regulations.

Site Support

• Conduct site visits, inspections, and coordination meetings to ensure proper implementation of façade designs.
• Provide technical support to project teams during the installation phase.

Problem Solving

• Identify and resolve design challenges and coordination issues during project development and execution.

Client Interaction

• Present façade design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Incorporate client feedback and refine designs accordingly.

QualificationsEducation

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 3 to 8+ years of experience in façade design or architectural façade systems.
• Experience working on commercial or high-rise projects is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of façade materials, construction techniques, and detailing.

Core Skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with advanced façade systems and performance-based design.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,500.00 per month
