Facade Designer / Senior Facade Designer / Drafter

Skytop Engineering is an international facade design and engineering consultancy specializing in the design of all types of building envelope systems.

Our projects span across the Middle East, the UK, North America and Europe, and our clients include leading architects, developers, and facade contractors.

We are currently looking for Facade Designers/Drafters to join our growing team and work on unique international projects.

The position is remote (from any country, globally) and offered on a project-by-project basis. Potentially moving to full-time employment.

Immediate start.

This position requires experience in facade design and engineering.
Candidates with primarily architectural backgrounds without strong technical/engineering experience with facade systems will not be considered.

Experience in facade consultancy for Middle East projects (UAE, Saudi Arabia etc.) is a must.

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong AutoCAD skills (required).

Location: Remote (project-based collaboration).

Key Responsibilities

• Design of facade systems, including:
• Curtain wall systems (stick and unitised)
• Ventilated facades
• Windows and doors
• Glazing systems and building envelope elements
• Preparation of technical and working documentation (drawings, details, packages)

Requirements

• Experience in construction and facade design
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Experience working on Middle East facade consultancy projects (UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc.) is a must
• Strong technical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to develop efficient and practical engineering solutions
• Self-driven, responsible, and highly motivated
