FACADE ESTIMATOR

A Facade Estimator is a specialized construction professional responsible for calculating the material, labor, and production costs required to build architectural building envelopes. They analyze blueprints and specifications to ensure commercial and residential glazing, curtain walls, and cladding systems ,Railings are profitable and competitively priced.

• Drawing & BOQ Analysis: Review tender drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to understand the full scope of the facade project.
• Quantity Take-Offs: Precisely calculate the exact amounts of aluminum profiles, glass types, sealants, steel, and accessories needed for fabrication and installation.
• Supplier Coordination: Solicit quotations from system houses (Alumil , Schuco, Technal), glass processors, and subcontractors.
• Commercial Proposals: Prepare comprehensive cost analyses, profit margins, and final bid submissions.
• Value Engineering: Identify alternative, cost-effective materials or design adjustments without compromising structural integrity or aesthetic requirements. [1, 2, 3

Essential Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
• Experience: Typically 2+ years of specialized experience in aluminum, glass, or facade contracting.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD. Knowledge of specialized estimation and design software like Orgadata/LogiKal is highly advantageous.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
