FACADE SUPERVISOR– High-Rise Construction

Job Summary

The Facade Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and monitoring all façade works on high-rise buildings, ensuring compliance with approved shop drawings, specifications, safety standards, and UAE building regulations. The role focuses on quality, progress, safety, and coordination with consultants, and façade subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Execution

· Supervise installation of façade systems including- Curtain wall systems (stick, unitized) Aluminum cladding, Glass & glazing, Stone cladding, GRC / GFRC panels, ACP panels, louvers, canopies, and skylights

· Ensure works are executed according to- Approved shop drawings, Method statements, Project specifications

· Monitor daily façade activities and productivity

2. Quality Control

· Conduct inspections at all stages of façade installation.

· Ensure correct alignment, tolerances, waterproofing, sealants, and fixings.

· Coordinate with QAQC engineers for- MIRs (Material Inspection Requests), WIRs (Work Inspection Requests)

· Rectify defects and ensure snag-free handover

3. Safety & Compliance

· Enforce strict compliance with UAE HSE standards, especially- Working at height, Scaffolding, Cradle and mast climber operations

· Ensure workers use proper PPE

· Conduct toolbox talks related to façade activities

· Stop unsafe work practices immediately

4. Coordination & Communication

· Coordinate with- Façade subcontractors, Consultants and client representatives

· Liaise with site engineers for setting out and levels.

· Coordinate with other trades (MEP, structural, waterproofing) to avoid clashes.

5. Materials & Logistics

· Check delivery and storage of façade materials

· Ensure materials match approved samples and submittals

· Monitor usage and minimize wastage

· Report material shortages in advance

6. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

· Track façade work progress against the approved program

· Prepare daily/weekly progress reports

· Highlight delays, technical issues, and manpower shortages

· Assist in planning sequence of façade installation for high-rise floors

7. Testing & Handover

· Support façade testing activities such as- Water penetration tests, Air infiltration tests, Structural performance tests

· Assist in final inspections and handover documentation

Key Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

· Strong knowledge of façade systems and materials

· Ability to read and interpret- Shop drawings, IFC drawings, Method statements

· Understanding of façade anchoring, tolerances, sealants, and waterproofing

· Familiarity with UAE façade standards, Dubai Municipality and Civil Defense requirements

Practical Skills

· High-rise façade installation experience

· Hands-on supervision of skilled and unskilled labor

· Problem-solving on site installation issues

· Ability to work with cradles, BMUs, scaffolding, and mast climbers

Qualifications & Experience

· Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering /Construction

· 5–10 years’ experience in façade works, preferably in high-rise buildings in the UAE or GCC

· Proven experience with curtain wall and cladding systems

· HSE Safety training certificates preferred

· Ability to communicate in English (Arabic and Turkish is an advantage)

Tools & Systems Knowledge

· Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings (viewing & interpretation)

· Knowledge of façade access systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
