Facial Specialist Teacher / Instructor

DAYTIME TEACHER — Class Hours: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
OR
EVENING TEACHER — Class Hours: 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm

License Requirements

To teach in the State of Florida, you must hold a valid Facial Specialist or Cosmetology License.

Position Overview

Gulf Coast Academy is currently seeking a dedicated instructor for our Facial Specialist Course.

Facial Specialist instructors are responsible for teaching students the fundamentals of their field and guiding the class through the required coursework that prepares students for state board exams and professional work in the industry.

To ensure students gain a full understanding of the art and science of skincare, instructors must be able to explain key concepts in physiology and anatomy as they relate to skin, hair, nails, and massage techniques.

Instructors are also responsible for reinforcing the importance of safe and sanitary practices for clients, students, and the work environment. This includes supervising students as they learn new skills and providing close oversight when students begin working with real clients in the student clinic.

Core Responsibilities

A core responsibility of the instructor is to prepare lesson plans and demonstrations that align withstate curriculum requirements.
The course of study should include clear program objectives, student learning goals, and structured daily lesson plans.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $42.47 per hour
