Facilities Analyst

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Facilities Analyst will be responsible for a variety of facilities management services relative to interior spaces, including programming, design analysis, space planning, and aesthetics, using specialized knowledge of interior construction, building systems and components, building codes, equipment, materials, and furnishings. The duties include:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and coordination of commercial vendors
- Interact with offices across the country
- Interact with high profile clients with the highest level of management within the government
- Perform task using AutoCAD version 2021 or higher
- Prepare drawings according to the space assignment documents which are related to the design of interior spaces. In order to enhance and protect the health, safety, and welfare of the end-users as well as the public.
- Manage projects, develop cost estimates, evaluating bid proposals, reviewing construction documents, participating in on-site construction visits, conducting pre- and post-occupancy evaluations, developing standards for efficient space management, etc
- Assist local staff with building and safety issues as they arise.
- Performs other tasks related to security as directed by the Government Technical Point of Contact (POC) or other federal staff within the Facility and Security Branch.
- Follow established processes to monitor schedule dates. Collect and log information, run standard reports, and maintain records per agency guidelines. Receive and input internal and external customer requests for services and goods related to buildings, equipment and systems. Maintain records and files. Support the processing of requests through predetermined criteria.
- Collects and edits physical inventory data for use in a computerized inventory. Examines and measures agency facilities, updates building maps and drawings. Compiles data for special reports, maintains inventory records and files. Operates building monitoring equipment and software involving HVAC and fire alarm systems.
- Oversees key management control programs. Participates in facilities assessments, asbestos management, preventive maintenance, and other management control programs. Train and supervise entry-level personnel. Planning and evaluation of existing equipment capabilities
WHAT MATTERS TO US:
- Bachelor’s degree. Experience may be substituted for education.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD system required.
- 5+ years of experience managing small to mid-level projects ranging between $3-10 million.
- Prior Architecture Design, Interior Design, or Engineering experience.
- Current/prior Federal Government experience.
- Willing to travel 25-50% to locations across the country.
- Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Muse Technologies offers its employees' salaries that are commensurate with their experience, and that are market compatible. This position will have multiple duty locations in the Washington, DC metropolitan commuting area. The employee will be expected to report to various work locations as directed without additional compensation for travel.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
