LOGISTEED UK Limited operates purpose‑built Processing Centres, with teams embedded directly within customer operations across 13 sites in total. Its head office sits within a 40,500 sq metre facility at Hillthorn Business Park in Washington, Sunderland, supported by a second 38,750 sq metre facility at Turbine Business Park less than a mile away, and a third Sunderland site leased to a partner. The company also manages a 3,300 sq metre centre in Basingstoke. All three locations are strategically positioned close to major transport routes to support efficient UK and international distribution.

We deliver high‑quality logistics services to manufacturers in the automotive, premium automotive, construction machinery, commercial lighting, electric battery, offshore renewable energy, HVAC and fashion sectors.

Hours of work

Working within the Facilities and Maintenance team based at the Hillthorn Business Park, 16 hours per week: Candidates must be flexible to support overtime when required.

Working Hours & Flexibility

The role is contracted for 16 hours per week, with the potential for additional overtime, when required, to support business needs. While the total weekly hours are fixed, there is flexibility around how these hours are worked. They may be spread across two, three or four days per week, to be mutually discussed and agreed upon at the interview stage.

Facilities and Maintenance Administrator

Job Purpose

LOGISTEED UK Limited is seeking a highly organised and proactive Facilities and Maintenance Administrator to support the effective operation of our Head Office and wider facilities function. This role plays a vital part in coordinating maintenance activity, maintaining accurate records and ensuring our facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Facilities and Maintenance Manager and alongside a team of Facilities and Maintenance Apprentices and Technicians, providing essential administrative and coordination support.

This is an office‑based role requiring in‑person attendance at our Washington Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Raise, monitor and close work orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors and external suppliers
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, documentation and certifications
  • Support health, safety and environment compliance, including record‑keeping, reporting and documentation
  • Assist with facilities inspections, audits and compliance checks
  • Provide general administrative support related to facilities and maintenance operations

Key Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative or facilities support role
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations (desirable, but not essential)

  • Support the team with the submission of EPRs to the purchasing department.
