Job Summary:
Facilities Associates support the day-to-day operations of Natural Bridge Caverns buildings and structures by performing maintenance tasks, monitoring equipment, and ensuring a clean, safe, and functional environment for staff and visitors. Associates play a vital role in upholding safety standards, resolving guest concerns, and fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment. Associates are also responsible for fostering our values of integrity, teamwork, stewardship, and excellence while creating a world where people feel connected to one another and the land – above ground and below.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure a safe and functional facility. Maintain inventory of supplies and tools and keep accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.
Monitoring and Inspections: Monitor building systems (HVAC, lighting, plumbing) and report issues or coordinate with vendors for resolution.
Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards, maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with facility standards.
Belt Assisted Transport (BAT): Complete daily, monthly and annual inspections to ensure safety and proper mechanical operation.
Event Setup: Assist with setup and breakdown for events, meetings, and daily operations, including furniture and equipment handling.
Safety: Support emergency preparedness efforts and follow all safety protocols
Other Duties: May be assigned tasks as needed to consistently ensure guest satisfaction and uphold safety standards.

Working Conditions:
Full Time work with frequent nights, weekends, and holidays required. Peak periods may require extended hours.
Requires standing or walking for extended periods of time.
Requires moving boxes and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds across park areas for various needs.
Occasional work outdoors in all weather conditions.
