The Facilities Cleaning Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating the work of the
custodians in cleaning the Company’s buildings and other facilities, performing minor maintenance, and moving furniture and office equipment. The Facilities Cleaning Lead works with the Facilities Cleaning Supervisor to plan, prioritize, and train custodian staff.

Partners with the Facilities Cleaning Supervisor to plan, prioritize, assign, oversee, and support staff responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of Thorne facilities and grounds.
- Establishes schedules, procedures, and inspection processes to ensure assigned areas are consistently maintained in an inspection-ready state, including cleanliness, safety, and compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Participates in the defining and development of standards, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinates and oversees work performed by outside contractors and vendors pertaining to custodial services, gowning supplies, and non-inventory supplies.
- Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety, environmental practices, area processes, and waste reduction opportunities.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- 3 years of facilities/cleaning experience in a manufacturing facility is required.
- Previous experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Food manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to build, develop, motivate, and engage high-performance teams and work cross-functionally.
- Good interpersonal skills. Ability to engage others in a positive manner.
- Strong attention to detail.
