DESCRIPTION
As a Facilities Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment across our office, breakrooms, restrooms, and production areas. This role is essential to supporting a safe workplace and a professional environment for both employees and visitors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company procedures while completing cleaning tasks.

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.

Sweep, mop, and maintain breakrooms, hallways, and office areas.

Empty trash and recycling receptacles in office and plant areas.

Maintain plant floor cleanliness, including sweeping and mopping as needed.

Refill restroom and breakroom supplies (paper products, soap, etc.).

Safely handle and store cleaning supplies and equipment.

Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs promptly.

Support 6S and continuous improvement initiatives by keeping all areas organized and clutter-free.

Perform other related cleaning and facility support tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow established cleaning and safety procedures. A strong sense of responsibility and pride in maintaining a safe and clean environment is required.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours per shift, often on concrete floors.

Regularly lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 40 lbs.

Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.

Work in an often hot, loud, and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Exposure to cleaning chemicals and industrial substances (PPE provided).

Required to wear appropriate PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing, as needed.

Part-time position, up to 20 hours per week.
