Pay: $15.00/hour for Bachelor's Program, $21.00/hour for Master's Program

You’ll work closely with the Lead Facilities Coordinator and Facilities leadership team to support a strategic data and process initiative tied to ServiceNow optimization. This internship combines project ownership with real-world exposure to facilities operations in a fast-paced retail environment.
Facilities Data & Process Playbook Initiative- Lead current-state discovery and documentation across three primary Facilities Data Pillars: Preventative Maintenance, Asset Lifecycle & Management, and Vendor Data Integrity
- Analyze workflows, system dependencies, and field-level operational impact to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop structured future-state process recommendations and governance considerations
- Create documented process maps and a Facilities Data & Process Playbook with improvement recommendations
The intern will summarize findings, recommendations, and outcomes at the conclusion of the internship through a formal presentation to Facilities leadership.
- Exposure to ServiceNow and enterprise facilities management systems
- Participation in cross-functional meetings with Facilities, Energy, and Operations teams
- Shadowing facilities analysts to understand maintenance coordination and asset management processes
- Insight into how facilities data supports operational decision-making across Maverik locations
- Exposure to enterprise facilities operations and data governance practices
- Experience with process mapping, documentation, and operational analysis
- Opportunity to identify and recommend process improvements with executive visibility
- Cross-functional collaboration with Facilities, Energy, and field operations teams
- Real-world insight into how Facilities supports Maverik’s growth and store performance
- Preference will be given to applicants who reside in Utah, as this is an on-site opportunity based at our headquarters
- A full-time college student who has completed their sophomore year by the start of the internship
- Currently enrolled at an accredited university
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and structured documentation
- Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
