Job Description
This role requires deep expertise in electrical infrastructure, as well as broad knowledge of general facilities systems to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operations.
Electrical Systems Management

Design, maintain, and optimize electrical distribution systems (medium and low voltage).

Oversee UPS, switchgear, transformers, generators, and emergency power systems.

Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and local electrical codes.

Perform load analysis, power quality monitoring, and energy efficiency improvements.

Optimize and review power quality monitoring systems, working with local utility to resolve issues.
Facilities Operations

Support and maintain critical facility systems including HVAC, process cooling water, CDA, vacuum, and gas distribution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure uptime and reliability of fab operations.

Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Project Leadership
-
Lead electrical infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning.

Manage contractors and vendors for installation, upgrades, and repairs.

Prepare budgets, schedules, and technical documentation for capital projects.
Compliance & Safety
-
Ensure all work meets EHS standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for electrical hazards.
Job Requirements:
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

10+ years in facilities engineering, with at least 5 years in a semiconductor (preferred) or manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, power quality, and grounding.

Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and SCADA.

Understanding of cleanroom and critical environment requirements.

Controls experience a plus.

Working knowledge of fire alarm and/or TGDS system a plus.

Knowledge and/or previous background working with electrical utility providers

Use of AutoCad

Certifications: PE license or PMP certification is a plus.
