Facilities Estimator (MEP) – Male

Job Purpose:

Will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for maintenance, repair, and minor refurbishments across various client facilities, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review maintenance scope of work, technical specifications, and project requirements.

· Conduct site visits to assess existing facilities and gather necessary data for accurate estimation.

· Prepare detailed estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead costs.

· Collaborate with maintenance managers, clients, and vendors to ensure estimates align with project needs.

· Analyze bid documents, drawings, and specifications to develop comprehensive proposals.

· Ensure estimates are competitive, accurate, and submitted within deadlines.

· Assist in negotiating contracts and finalizing pricing strategies.

· Keep updated on market rates for labor, materials, and equipment in the UAE.

· Maintain organized records of all estimates, bids, and related documentation.

· Support project teams during execution with cost insights and adjustments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering (MEP)

- Total 9 year facilities maintenance estimation within the UAE or GCC region.

- Strong understanding of maintenance processes, materials, and tools.

- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

- Knowledge of local UAE regulations, safety standards, and building codes.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance specifications.

Preferred Attributes:

- UAE driving license and valid visa.

- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
