Facilities Maintenance and Cleaning Technician

Walk into work knowing that, as the caretaker for our beautiful, 16,000 sq. ft. facility, you’re directly responsible for the comfort and safety of our guests.

This position includes routine cleaning duties daily to ensure a spotless, sanitary environment. In this position, you’ll draw from your trade skills in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, landscaping and mechanics to oversee all aspects of building maintenance. One day, you may be touching up paint in the front lobby; the next day, you could be installing a new door.

Responsibilities:

• Perform immediate cleaning responsibilities as required daily
• Conduct preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks
• Make minor repairs to plumbing and electrical systems
• Light landscaping
• Act as primary contact for any building issue that may arise
• Work closely with outside vendors as needed to monitor project process and performance

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

We’re seeking a highly motivated, experienced candidate with good mechanical aptitude and analytical skills. If asked to interview, please come prepared with proven success stories about your ability to solve maintenance challenges for other facilities. This position will require weekend and holiday hours and three years of general maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, HVAC, etc.)
