Campground Facilities and Grounds Maintenance (Seasonal)

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain the safety, functionality, and appearance of our campground facilities. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, cabins, RV sites, and campground facilities
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and basic mechanical issues
• Maintain grounds: mowing, trimming, debris removal, and landscaping
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of fire pits, picnic areas, playgrounds, signage, and common spaces
• Monitor and repair water, septic, and waste systems
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment (mowers, chainsaws, power tools, etc.)
• Respond promptly to guest requests with professional customer service
• Assist with seasonal opening/closing (e.g., winterization, water line flushing)
• Track maintenance inventory and follow safety/regulatory standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, construction, or groundskeeping required
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
• Able to work independently and on a team
• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in all weather; able to lift 50 lbs and perform manual labor
• Available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Valid driver’s license
