Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the support and maintenance of multi-site healthcare clinics. This person must be prolific in the Microsoft suite as well as be able to read blueprints and plans. This person will report to the Facilities Manager.
Duties to Include:- Coordinates and manages repair services such as flooring, lighting, and medical equipment
- Understand space layouts and dimensions
- Responsible for facilities support and maintenance daily
- Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
- Manage building and equipment maintenance schedules, test building security systems and prepare for emergencies by creating action plans
- Assists with management of capital projects and leasehold improvements.
- Reads blueprints and leases daily.
- Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance.
- Uses extensive Microsoft Excel skills to maintain project schedules, tracking budgets, and the status of outstanding items.
- Assumes additional responsibilities and assists with special projects as needed.
- Detailed, organized with excellent follow-through and communication skills
Education and Experience:- 1-3 years working in a professional business environment
- Construction, HVAC and Electrical knowledge is strongly preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Exceptional organizational and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; must meet deadlines and perform job functions within outlined expectations
- Comfortable and confident managing multiple assignments and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
