Facilities Maintenance Specialist: Building/Equipment

Position Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist supports the reliability and safety of all equipment and cleanliness of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Weekly:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas. This includes mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, dishes, and taking out the trash.
• Water plants, pull weeds, clean parking lot, basic gardening

Regularly:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on the following equipment: Forklift, Saws, Trucks
• Maintain building systems (electrical, lighting, air, water, basic plumbing).
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and parts inventory.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and safety guidelines for machine

As needed:

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production support calls.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Mechanical aptitude with industrial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn about cutting and heavy industrial equipment.
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Physically able to work in an industrial environment (standing, lifting, climbing).
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
