Facilities Maintenance Tech

Box Elder County has an opening for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician with the Buildings and Grounds Department. The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties related to the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and improvement of county facilities and grounds. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, HVAC and climate control systems, plumbing systems, structural components, and voice/data infrastructure. The Facilities Maintenance Technician ensures facilities operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with applicable regulations. This position is on-call for emergency situations.

Those interested in this position must be a high school graduate or equivalent with two years of specialized training related to facilities management and have two or more years of experience performing facilities maintenance. Must possess a valid Utah Class D Driver's license.
