Facilities Maintenance Technician (Certified Electrician)

Evoove is partnered with a leading facility in Columbus, MS, seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician (Certified Electrician) to join their team. This full-time, on-site role offers competitive pay and relocation assistance for the right candidate.

Pay: $25–$35/hr
Schedule: Full-time, on-site (no remote or hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Complete preventive maintenance on wiring, panels, and lighting systems.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, state, and local codes.
• Install and test new electrical systems and equipment.
• Assist with general facility systems, including HVAC and plumbing.

Qualifications:

• Licensed electrician (state certification required).
• 5+ years of experience in electrical/facilities maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs., work at heights, and in varied conditions.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
