Description:
Position Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the company’s facilities, yard, and equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and repair tasks including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC. Conducts routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities

Perform specific duties during both operating and non-operating hours in a timely manner.

Monitor performance of equipment and inform maintenance supervisors of potential problems.

Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of projects.

Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations.

Conducts routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency breakdowns.

Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.

Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request new materials as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Qualifications
-
2+ years of experience in facility maintenance or related field.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, heights, confined spaces)

Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Bilingual a plus.
Physical Requirements

Ability to climb stairs and ladders, reach, squat, push, and pull objects.

Ability to regularly lift 50lbs and occasionally lift up to 100lbs.

Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions.

Ability to lift objects of various dimensions and weights.
