Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Facilities Maintenance Technicians will be responsible for traveling from our office to different locations across the South East that require door repair, lock repair, hardware replacement, fogged window measurement, glass replacement, emergency board up services, gasket replacement, caulking, leak detection. We work with National GC's, national food chains, as well as run installation through another division of the company.

Duties

• Troubleshoot panic devices on hollow metal doors, storefront doors, wood core doors.
• Remove existing and install new closers
• Remove existing pivots/hinges and install new. (Hinges, Pivots, Continuous Hinges)
• Ability to read directions for installation of automatic closers, electric keypad locks
• Troubleshoot broken sliding windows, sliding doors, and aluminum entrance systems
• Troubleshoot broken, damaged, faulty hardware
• Replace key cylinders, handles, locking mechanisms, sweeps, door glass, and glass stops on aluminum doors
• Measure fogged window units
• Investigate leaks around entry way
• Install glass up to 75 lbs
• Have all of the tools needed to work on doors, handles, hinges, etc.
• Have clean driving record
• Have clean background
• Be able to be added to company insurance (bad records cannot be added)

Company vehicles provided

Travel required. Technicians will be loaded with material for multiple jobs at a time dependent on workload in scheduled area. 3-5 Hotel stays in a week is not uncommon.

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 75.0 per week
