Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with a strong focus on HVAC systems to join our team. This position supports large-scale HVAC equipment, including multiple 60-ton systems and high-capacity environmental controls used in a controlled grow environment. Your expertise will ensure optimal operational performance, safety, and energy efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the seamless operation of our property infrastructure.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment, RTUs, dehumidifiers, and mini splits s, plumbing, and other mechanical systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Perform HVAC preventative maintenance: Coil cleaning, filters, belts, motors. Airflow and performance checks
- Conduct equipment repairs using appropriate tools and techniques such as welding, soldering, and mechanical adjustments.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and plan repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service logs, and incident reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems or upgrades following industry standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on HVAC systems; construction or property maintenance experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration), plumbing, etc
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents accurately.
- Experience working with large HVAC systems (up to 60 tons)
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently in the field.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfortable operating company vehicles safely.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to ammonia refrigeration, electrical work, welding, and general property maintenance. Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
