Facilities Management Coordinator

Job Summary:

By effectively managing maintenance, ensuring compliance, and optimizing resources, they contribute significantly to the overall success of an organization

Maintenance Coordination:

Oversee routine maintenance and repair activities to ensure that all facilities are in optimal condition. This includes scheduling repairs, managing maintenance requests, and coordinating with external contractors.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that all facilities meet health and safety standards. This involves conducting regular inspections, managing emergency protocols, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Space Management:

Allocate and optimize office space to enhance productivity and accommodate organizational changes. This includes planning for space utilization and managing office layouts.

Vendor Liaison:

Maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery. This includes negotiating contracts and managing vendor performance.

Communication and Coordination:

Act as a key liaison between different departments, ensuring effective communication regarding facility needs and operational improvements. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders to address facility-related issues.

Administrative Support:

Provide administrative support related to facility management, including tracking expenses, managing budgets, and preparing reports on facility operations.

Emergency Response:

Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure the safety of all occupants in the event of an emergency.
