Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Manager with an architectural background to oversee the planning, maintenance, and optimization of our facilities. This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise, organizational skills, and stakeholder management to ensure our spaces are efficient, safe, and aligned with company standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all facilities, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers, including procurement, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
  • Support the design, renovation, and improvement of office layouts and infrastructure, leveraging architectural knowledge.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor budgets for facility operations, including repairs, upgrades, and utilities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate space planning and workplace optimization projects to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports on facility conditions, project progress, and vendor performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workplace needs (IT, HR, Security, etc.).


Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in facility management, construction oversight, or workplace operations.
  • Proven track record in managing vendors and contractors, including contract negotiations and performance follow-up.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety systems).
  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
