1. Infrastructure & Maintenance
- Ensure 100% uptime of critical facilities (electricity, water supply, HVAC, lifts, DG sets, medical gas pipeline, etc.).
- Implement preventive & predictive maintenance schedules for college buildings, hospital wards, lecture halls, hostels, labs, and libraries.
- Minimize breakdowns with defined MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) targets.
2. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with NMC, NABH, Fire Safety, Pollution Control Board, Biomedical Waste Management Rules.
- Timely renewals of licenses, certifications, and statutory clearances (fire NOC, electrical safety, pollution clearance, etc.).
- Conduct regular safety audits and mock drills for students, staff, and patients.
3. Support Services Management
- Maintain cleanliness & hygiene across hostels, lecture halls, hospital wards, OPDs, and laboratories.
- Ensure effective operation of housekeeping, security, laundry, gardening, and cafeteria services.
- Monitor biomedical & general waste disposal as per statutory norms.
4. Vendor & Manpower Management
- Effective supervision of facility management staff, ward boys, technicians, security personnel, and outsourced manpower.
- Ensure vendor SLA (Service Level Agreement) compliance and cost-effective contract management.
- Conduct regular training & skill enhancement programs for FM staff.
5. Budgeting & Resource Optimization
- Prepare & control facility management budgets for the college & teaching hospital.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives in utilities (electricity, water, consumables).
- Track and report on energy consumption & sustainability initiatives.
6. Campus & Hostel Management
- Ensure hostel facilities (water, sanitation, electricity, mess, security) are well-maintained.
- Maintain teaching facilities (lecture halls, auditoriums, labs, libraries) to academic standards.
- Provide a safe, secure, and conducive environment for students, faculty, and patients.
7. Emergency & Crisis Preparedness
- Ensure readiness for medical & non-medical emergencies (fire, flood, power outage, pandemic, etc.).
- Maintain disaster management plan for the hospital & college.
- Conduct periodic drills and training for students and staff.
8. Stakeholder Satisfaction
- Achieve high satisfaction scores from students, faculty, patients, and visitors regarding campus facilities.
- Timely resolution of complaints through a structured grievance/complaint management system.
- Maintain transparent reporting to management on facility performance.
