Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day care, maintenance, and reliability of all buildings, systems, and common areas. This role manages one full-time Facilities Technician and works directly in the field performing repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and contractor coordination. The ideal candidate enjoys being visible, community-minded, and part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, life-safety, and security systems
  • Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and assist with capital planning
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Lead or support facility upgrades and improvement projects
  • Respond to operational issues and emergencies promptly
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a caring culture

Qualifications

  • Hands-on facilities or building maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of building systems and safety standards
  • Experience supervising staff and coordinating contractors
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Club, HOA, hospitality, or resort experience is a plus
