Job Summary:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operational integrity of all seven properties within The Mental Health Collective. This position ensures all residential and administrative locations remain functional, safe, and supportive of a therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, skilled in hands-on maintenance, and capable of managing multiple sites, vendors, and property-related needs efficiently.

Education/Experience/Skills Required:

  • 3–5+ years of facilities management or property maintenance experience; multi-site experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general construction).
  • Experience coordinating contractors and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess and maintain a personal set of tools suitable for performing general repairs.
  • Reliable transportation and valid state driver’s license.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have required health screening.
  • Must have current TB test.
  • Must have criminal record clearance.
  • Must have Covid vaccine or qualified exemption.
  • Valid CPR/First Aid Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Repairs:

  • Perform and oversee routine maintenance and repair work across all seven residential and commercial sites.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify safety concerns and maintenance needs and keep records for Licensing Requirements.
  • Respond promptly to urgent repair requests.
  • Maintain documentation of work orders and maintenance logs.
  • Ensure annual maintenance, testing and reporting for all fire extinguishers, smoke detection systems across all state licensed sites.
  • Utilize and maintain personal tools needed for general repairs.

Vendor Management & Relations:

  • Source, evaluate, schedule, and oversee external vendors and contractors.
  • Obtain bids, negotiate pricing, and ensure contractor compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to review and approve invoices.

Inventory & Property Operations:

  • Manage inventory of household supplies, office materials, furnishings, and maintenance equipment.
  • Track inventory levels and coordinate timely purchasing.
  • Maintain organized storage areas across properties.

Facility Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with state/local regulations and licensing standards.
  • Maintain fire safety equipment, emergency systems, and security components.
  • Participate in facility walkthroughs, inspections, and audits.

Support for Organizational Operations:

  • Assist with property setup, relocations, renovations, or new site openings.
  • Support internal teams to ensure facilities meet program needs.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

Work frequently requires physical activity including lifting 50 pounds or more, navigating stairs, walking, bending, climbing, standing, and repetitive hand movements. Must be able to travel between multiple sites daily. Work may involve exposure to unpredictable situations within residential

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
