Position Description:
PurposeThe purpose of Facilities Technician – AZ is to provide general maintenance, repair or construction needed on the facility located in Arizona. This is a broad role that could range from changing air filters, grounds maintenance, or test course maintenance and repair.
Essential Functions*
- Record and report activities accurately
- Monitor, maintain, or modify buildings, test track facilities, and equipment
- Coordinate with clients and contractors to perform maintenance, improvements and test set-up

Other Duties and Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions)
- Follow safety procedures; wear protective equipment
- Coordinate with and assist outside contractors
- Coordinate and schedule activities with affected areas
- Support TRC Inc.’s Quality and EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) efforts
Qualifications
- High school diploma is required
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic knowledge of landscaping, concrete/asphalt, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, vehicle maintenance, and/or fabrication
- Basic knowledge of safe and proper tool and equipment use (hand tools, power tools, forklift)
- Good communication skills with the ability to describe maintenance tasks
- Basic computer skills to enter inspection data, timesheets, and work orders
Working conditions
- May be exposed to temperatures under 32 degrees and above 110 degrees
- May be exposed to inclement weather
- May be exposed to hazardous chemical, such as gas, oil, and paint
Physical requirements
- Ability to move objects up to 50 pounds
- Capable of positioning one’s self into bending, stretching, climbing, or awkward positions
- Ability to enter work times into a computer
