Facilities Technician / Junior Supervisor

Key Accountabilities

· Oversee contracted projects, equipment installation, renovation and redesign works.

· Coordinate with customers to ensure requirements are met during design, construction, and post‑construction.

· Monitor contractor performance for design compliance, quality, schedule, and cost.

· Coordinate with contractors on project implementation and site preparation.
Conduct daily site visits, progress meetings, and submit progress reports to the Facilities Engineer.

· Review and endorse material submittals, RFIs, variation claims, and progress invoices.

· Support Facilities Engineer with design changes and equipment specifications.
Assist in preparing and monitoring the facilities budget and expenditures.

· Support contractor/consultant selection by reviewing pre‑qualification documents.

· Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors for effective project delivery.

· Track project costs and variations against approved purchase orders.
Ensure completion of snag lists, testing & commissioning, and handover documentation.

· Coordinate project handover to the maintenance team.

· Compile and maintain accurate project documentation.

· Prepare required reports and maintain records.

· Monitor HSE compliance and ensure corrective actions are taken.

· Ensure contractors follow safety standards.

• Minimum: 3 – 5 years of experience in construction projects and Facilities Management.

Knowledge/Qualification

• Bachelors / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
