DeFelsko Corporation, a leading U.S. manufacturer of hand-held inspection instruments, is seeking a full-time Facility Cleaner to join our on-site team in Ogdensburg, New York. The Facility Cleaner maintains the overall cleanliness and safety of the building, performing a variety of daily housekeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily general cleaning of all accessible areas of the building.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break areas, and kitchen, including appliances.
• Keep floors swept, mopped, and vacuumed.
• Regularly dust common area walls, partitions, woodwork, doors, wall hangings, and baseboards.
• Replenish supplies in the restrooms, break areas, and kitchen, including making fresh coffee for employees daily.
• Collect individual trash/recycling and place in proper disposal receptacles.
• Setup and cleanup of items necessary for special on-site company events such as luncheons and client meetings.
• Spring/summer: Weeding around the building/grounds, watering exterior planters
• Winter: Shovel to keep emergency exits clear of snow (as necessary)
• Adhere to manufacturer’s instructions when mixing cleaning solutions.
• Observe and comply with all safety policies and procedures related specifically to cleaning duties, use of chemicals, and safety incident reporting.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• Maintain punctual, reliable attendance.
