Position Overview:
The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for the day to day activities in the rehab department overseeing all therapy personnel including Physical, Occupational and Speech. This includes implementation of new programs, hiring and training new staff, and meeting care plans for all residents.
Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring efficient service delivery.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation services, making adjustments as necessary to improve patient outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in a specialized area of rehabilitation
Previous experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF) or Long-Term Care setting
