Position Overview:

The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for the day to day activities in the rehab department overseeing all therapy personnel including Physical, Occupational and Speech. This includes implementation of new programs, hiring and training new staff, and meeting care plans for all residents.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring efficient service delivery.

  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to the needs of individual patients.
  • Supervise and mentor rehabilitation staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and review patient care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation services, making adjustments as necessary to improve patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.

  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in a specialized area of rehabilitation

  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data management.
  • Previous experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF) or Long-Term Care setting
