Facility Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We are currently seeking an additional Facility Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Bay Minette Truss and Millwork Plant! You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining the facility, equipment and vehicles. This is FULL TIME employment.

Responsibilities:

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Document work performed on equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Work on compressors and airlines
• Work with managers to reduce machine downtime and increase efficiency
• Work with operators to troubleshoot machine issues
• Read and study operation manuals to gain familiarity with equipment

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Must have experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
• Must be familiar with three-phase and single-phase motors
• Must understand basic electrical theory
• Experience with Quincy air compressors
• Experience with door and truss machinery preferred, but not required
• Experience with requirements of and performing periodic maintenance
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Understand the importance of cleaning, oiling and inspecting machines
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• MUST HAVE OWN BASIC TOOLS
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
