Facility Janitorial / Maintenance

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facility Janitorial / Maintenance person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain restrooms by cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with custodial tasks in both commercial and residential settings as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Collaborate with facilities maintenance staff to address any repairs or upkeep required in the building.
• Provide porter services by assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial / Maintenance experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques used in commercial cleaning environments.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Current Arizona Drivers License.
• Pass a Pre Employment Drug Test

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
